It's refreshing to hear an actual song and not Garage Band loops for once. On the other hand it's not really funk, more bluesy. Check out some of my funk songs if you want to know what funk sounds like. (trying to not sound condescending but failing)

I'm tired of hearing songs where all people do is string together Garage Band loops and people this its the best shit ever. Ill give you credit as far as your use of the loops though, just try going out of the loop area. Here is a song i did without any loops, tear me up on this if you want, but just know i did it all by hand.

I don't intend to be mean or anything, but all you did was string together Garage Band loops. And do not tell me that that's not what you did because i know that you did. In fact I would be surprised if you even recorded any of the sounds via keyboard MIDI. Just saying.
